Renee Chandler
Renee Chandler didn't receiver her diploma when she was 17, instead she had her first of many hospitalizations for suicidal ideation and other manifestations of mental illness. It would be another 13 years before she finally got her GED. During that time Renee was institutionalized in the sense that she felt safer in the hospital rather than face the harsh "real" world. during her many inpatient experiences she met and talked to hundreds of others with mental illness and began to really feel a calling to help the people around her. Attending art Therapy was her favorite pastime as well as advantage of music therapy and other healing modalities. In the time when she wasn't in the hospital Renee enjoyed integrating those experiences into her life journey. Renee met Marian Hagopian for the first time in 2004 as a client at the Lipton Center. It was a hard transition period since Renee had just moved to the state and had to change everything but Marian stuck by her side through many hospitalizations and remained a staunch support system for her. Marian encouraged Renee to get her GED and although Renee resisted, she eventually did. Renee has graduate May 2015 with Human Services Associates Degree from Mount Wachusett Community College were she was on the deans list and a member of Phi Theta Kappa. She was also the president of the club Active Minds where she encouraged education and support for college students with mental illness, working to erase the stigma and create a safe haven for a diverse student body. Reneeis is a recipient of the Presidential Scholastic Diversity Award, winning with a poem written about having mental illness and attending college. she has spoken at The National Mental Health Conference in Gardner and is a Visions Trio Leader.Renee has gone on To Fitchburg State University and has finished her first year. Renee is thrilled to be part of the Elise Lindsay Healing Center. it has been many years since her last hospitalization and has be 4 years since her and Marian end there client/patient relationship due to insurance changes. Reneeis a true survivor and wishes to help the diverse needs of the community by fulfilling the Elise Lindsay Healing Centers vision.

Kyndyl Greyland

Usui Reiki Master & Run Valdr Practitioner

Kyndyl is  a transplant to Gardner. Moving here after growing up in South Carolina, then Tennessee and most recently Buffalo, NY. Kyndyl is a senior at Woolston-Steen Theological Seminary where he is studying towards a bachelor’s degree in Wiccan Ministry. He hopes to pursue advanced studies focusing on LGBTQI and other lesser served communities.  He also has bachelors in Psychology and Religious Studies from the University of South Carolina.

Kyndyl has worked in a variety of positions over the years. Primarily working with special needs adults and children in a variety of programs. Some of those have included residential, enclave, personal support staff, and respite care.

His interest in healing is primarily due to the influence of his aunt. She was a nurse at the V.A. hospital throughout his childhood and one of his primary caregivers. That started his interest in helping people and serving the community. Once he learned about various healing modalities at local pagan events, it was a natural outgrowth. He studied with a Reiki Master; receiving his first and second degree attunements. After moving to the north, he received his Reiki Master attunement two years ago. He has been practicing Run Valdr, a runic based energy work tradition, for three years.

Along with energy work; Kyndyl also works with animal rescue and rehabilitation. He’s adopted and raised several rescues. At one time having 3 large breed dogs (2 labrador mixes and a german shepherd), and 3 rescue guinea pigs at the same time.He has volunteered with local rescues, and is currently helping with animal assisted therapy programs.

He is looking forward to building an energy work practice here in Gardner. Providing his services to both humans and animals in our community.
